rp_nfl-2013-nfl-draft.jpg

Our exclusive power  rankings are the average ranking across  5 proprietary  mathematical ranking systems developed  and optimized by our computer!  These  systems  are designed to:

   1. Determine the winner of the game

   2. Minimize difference between predicted margin and actual margin

   3. Minimize  squared difference between  predicted margin and actual margin

   4.  Minimize difference between predicted total and actual total

   5. Minimize  squared  difference between predicted total and actual total

Each ranking  point separating teams is worth approximately 0.5 actual points. Add in 3 points for home field advantage!

  1. Sarah Long says:

This was interesting to see, however how are the rankings? 1 as the highest or lowest number? I have been to a Carolina game, and when you have the crowd going it is very loud. However, I have heard of other stadiums that when it’s a home game, it’s deafening.
